In a world full of acronyms, we introduce you to another ATA (Apprenticeship Training Agency). This one could benefit you as an employer if you would like to use our ‘shared apprenticeship service’ to support you with an apprentice.
An important date for your diary is 1st April 2018, if you are a levy paying employer from April 2018. You will be able to transfer 10% of your levy funds to us as earlier this year we successfully registered as an ATA.
Currently levy paying employers cannot transfer levy funds to any other organisation and can only use levy funds to pay for apprenticeship training and assessment (with an approved provider and assessment organisation, up to its funding band maximum).
You may already know it is not possible to use the levy funds for wages travel or subsidiary costs, managerial costs, work placements, traineeships, or set up costs for an apprenticeship programme.
However, changes are on the horizon as from 1st April 2018, levy paying companies can transfer 10% of their levy funds to ATAs, which means you can discuss with us and use Futureworks (Yorkshire) to support with your ‘levy’ needs.
