Celebrating Construction in South Yorkshire Awards (CCISY) is the region’s premier construction event and will be a showcase for the professionalism, excellence and innovation that is at the heart of South Yorkshire’s construction community.
We are very pleased to announce that one of our apprentices, Ben Mills, has been nominated for ‘Young Trainee of the Year’ at the CCISY Awards to be held on Friday 9th October at the Cutlers’ Hall Sheffield. We are also proud to say that, at Futureworks (Yorkshire), we have been shortlisted for ‘Team of the Year’ at the CCISY Awards!
Ben, 19, has recently completed his Level 2 NVQ in General Construction Operative apprenticeship and has been offered employment by Howard Civil Engineering. His role involves undertaking ground working duties, as part of a 3 man team, gaining valuable experience and knowledge working with experienced operatives.
CCISY 15 will celebrate high quality work by all parts of the region’s construction industry supply chain including developers, designers, builders and end-users, both large and small. The awards will reflect the dynamic nature of the construction business and will highlight the broadest possible spectrum of construction excellence being delivered by the industry in South Yorkshire.
