We like to keep you updated on the activities of our sister company Futureworks Flintshire. With new developments it is definitely keeping the team busy.
June has seen the team attend a Meet The Buyer Event with Read Construction, who are the main contractor for a new Health Centre development.
The team then went on to attend the North Wales Construction Framework Supply Chain Event over in Bangor on 8th June, and then in Wrexham on 15th June. The events aimed to promote the opportunities within the sector, clearly showing the North Wales Construction needs you… whether you are Ground Workers or Painters & Decorators, and all trades in between! The events were really well attended, with a wide range of local contractors in attendance. It was truly a great way for local businesses to join the supply chain for this framework. All the contractors supported the event, and Futureworks Flintshire are working with any apprenticeship opportunities that arise.
June also saw the team attend a local business support group, coordinated by Flintshire County Council – the Sandycroft Area Forum for Enterprise (SAFE). Providing great networking opportunities, as well as presentations from Coleg Cambria, Direct Communication and the Council’s Infrastructure Team, there were opportunities to showcase the benefits of apprenticeships for both young people and companies.
All in all another busy month and we know the team will look forward to updating you on their activities again soon.
